    Applications Engineer (m/f)

As an Applications Engineer at CMS, you will spearhead the in-depth assessment of existing, adjacent, and new market opportunities as a critical component of realizing substrate-transferred crystalline coatings and direct bonding technologies in new and unforeseen application areas fundamentally redefining precision laser optics. In this position, you will work with both internal and external teams to develop new solutions and related ideas based on your communications with existing and prospective customers and collaborators. To be successful in this role, you must possess a unique blend of technical and business expertise, as well as the motivation to see your ideas become reality. A significant fraction of your time will be spent with our growing customer base in order to understand their problems, and identify innovative solutions.
